The Rosedale Freedom Project (RFP) is committed to supporting young leaders in the Mississippi Delta as they develop critical consciousness and a passion for justice. Through community building, artistic expression, and the study of social history and grassroots democracy, fellows are encouraged to explore and shape their understanding of the world. The program envisions a society where every individual, regardless of background or identity, has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential within a democratic community. At its core, RFP is guided by the principles of Love, Education, Action, and Discipline (LEAD). These values shape both the personal growth of fellows and the structure of the program, fostering empathy, lifelong learning, collective action, and accountability. Through this holistic approach, RFP empowers participants to become thoughtful, engaged leaders who work toward meaningful social change.
